The annual Geneva National Ladies Triple Crown, "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend," was played Sunday, July 12th – Monday, July 13th. GN member ladies were each able to invite one guest to compete in different formats across the two days, with scoring based on 1 Gross Best Ball and 1 Net Best Ball.
Day 1 featured some fun contest strategies, including a "Mulligan," a "Magic Putt," and a "Magic String." Teams used these to their advantage to lower their scores and position themselves to win one of the four respective flights and claim the Gross or Net championship. Day 2 followed a traditional format, with no games in play — just standard 1 Gross Best Ball and 1 Net Best Ball scoring.
After an extra 3-hole playoff, the team of member Sandy Suh-Pomierski and Jasmine Yun came out on top, winning their second championship over the runner-up team of member Renee Case and Julie Spieker. Congratulations to both teams on a great battle!
The flight winners are listed below. Thank you to all the members and guests who played, and we look forward to the Ladies Triple Crown in July 2027.
