Assistant Golf Professional and Junior Golf Leader, Sam Klobucar will be in his third season at Destination Geneva National. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Golf Enterprise Management and Hospitality and has gained valuable experience at golf courses across the country and world including Olympia Fields Country Club, McDowell Mtn Golf Club, Kauri Cliffs, and Tara Iti in New Zealand. Sam has passion for the golf industry, growing the game of golf through juniors and families and is very excited to be leading our junior programming.

RYAN SOUTHWORTH
TEACHING PROFESSIONAL & MASTER CLUB FITTER

Ryan Southworth returns to Destination GN for his second season, he will be on property starting Saturday, May 11. Originally from Rhode Island, he grew up playing all sports but at age 10 discovered the game of golf, which quickly became his life’s passion. He was a two-time first team all state golfer in high school and won the Club Championship at his home course at age 17. From there he launched his professional golfers career.

Saturday, May 4 kicked off the Men’s & Ladies Weekend Golf Series on the Player Course. This was the first of ten events. Gorgeous weather greeted the 36 men and 23 ladies who competed in separate divisions but in the same format of 2 Net Best Balls of the 4-some. Thanks to all who participated and look forward to seeing everyone and more members at the next Weekend Golf on May 11.
