Despite Sunday’s damp weather, eight GN member families came out and braved the sprinkles for our Annual Cart Parade. Red, white, and blue were proudly on display alongside creative Wild West and Hawaiian themes. Taking 1st place was the Schink family with their “Star-Spangled Sweethearts” covered wagon. The White family earned 2nd place for their Hawaiian-themed cart, complete with a land shark, and the LeBlanc family rounded out the top three with their clever “Red, White & Bait” entry. Honorable mention goes to the Singer family, who were the first to arrive and toughed it out through the first wave of rain.
