MEMBER-MEMBER TOURNAMENT

The Annual Member-Member Tournament, the first major golf event of the year, took place on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23. A total of 120 participants competed for titles in the Men’s and Ladies' divisions over the two days, playing three 9-hole matches within their flights. The final day of the event was delayed by one hour due to storms in the Lake Geneva area overnight. I'd like to extend a huge thank you to Kevin Knudtson, the Head of Grounds, and Palmer Superintendent Brian “Moose” Johnson, along with their entire crew, for making the courses playable. They did an incredible job clearing numerous trees and debris, and their immense efforts are greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your hard work!

FLAG TOURNAMENT

FRIDAY, JULY 5 | 6AM - EARLY AFTERNOON

This is a 1st Tee Game where you purchase your Flag. Players are assigned a Target Score, and when they reach that number, they plant their flag. If they complete their round with strokes to spare, they bring the flag into the golf shop. Members are responsible for scheduling their own tee times and will play on the Member Course only between 6am and early afternoon.

$10 per member, plus cart (if applicable)

The series aims to involve more juniors in the game, expand their knowledge of golf rules and etiquette, and provide experience in a tournament atmosphere.

JR. GOLF SUMMER CAMPS

THREE DAY CAMPS

GN's junior golf camps address fundamentals, etiquette, and more specific skills of golf, with practice drills and strategy development as campers progress.

AGES 6-10: July 23 - 25 | August 6 - 8

AGES 11-15: July 8-10 | July 29 - 31 | August 13 –15

CLUB NOTES

PRACTICE RANGE CLOSURE

FOR FIREWORKS SET-UP

Please note the Practice Range will close today, Thursday, July 4, at 10am for fireworks set-up.

The Dance Floor will remain open all day, except during the firework show.

MEMBER GUEST GOLF POLICY

A reminder that on Fridays and Saturdays between 8am and 12pm, members may not host guests on the course as these times are exclusively reserved for our members. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

MEMBER PACE OF PLAY

Please maintain a pace of play of 4 hours for 18 holes. The GPS pace of play tracking is set at 4 hours 20 minutes. To meet the 4-hour expectation, you will need to play the front 9 holes 10 minutes ahead of GPS pace and complete the full 18 holes 20 minutes ahead of GPS pace, even when playing with guests. Our professional staff will monitor the pace of play, and Members falling behind will be notified and expected to pick up the pace. Remember to play ready golf and keep pace with the group in front of you at all times.
