An absolutely gorgeous day greeted golfers for the annual SOWF Golf Outing on the Player Course Monday, 8/3. Participants competed in a scramble format for low score, along with several on-course games. A field of 93 golfers was divided into two divisions, Men's and Ladies/Mixed. Team results and on-course game winners are listed below.
Following the afternoon of golf, players and a large crowd of supporters gathered for the highlight of the evening: the silent and live auctions. An incredible collection of valuable items, packages, and travel trips went up for bid, and a record $240,933 was raised for the education of fallen military personnel. We thank everyone who bid and won, and extend a huge thank-you to Bob Wann, Allen Chouinard and the entire SOWF committee for putting together the items and the evening's festivities.
