On January 25, a spirited group of Geneva National members and staff hit the lanes at Delavan Lanes for a fun-filled Bowl-O-Rama afternoon. Joining the action were Membership Manager John Freiburger, Culinary Director Jared Schulz, Member First Assist. Sam Klobucar, and Member Head Professional Charlie Brown. The group bowled in a lively 9-Pin Tap format—where knocking down nine (or all ten!) pins on the first ball counted as a strike—keeping the energy high and the laughs coming.
The afternoon was full of great camaraderie and friendly competition, highlighted by Charlie’s signature “Charlie Challenges,” which rewarded both skill and a little luck. Leading the way for the ladies was Kathy Garske with a high game of 169 and a three-game series of 407. On the men’s side, Jim Scharfe topped the leaderboard with an impressive high game of 248 and a three-game series of 689.
Thank you to everyone who participated—we’re already looking forward to the next Bowl-O-Rama in early 2027! 🎳
