CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
FRIDAY, AUGUST 15 - SUNDAY, AUGUST 17

A stroke play event with for both men and women, played over 2-3 days based on your division, followed by a post-play lunch and awards on Sunday in the Pavilion Tent.
Compete against members with similar handicaps and strive to be crowned a "GN Club Champion"! The Regular (ages 18+) division will play three rounds, while the Senior (ages 60-69) and Legends (ages 70+) divisions will play two rounds each. The Championship Flights will be played without handicaps, with a gross champion only. In all the other flights, there will be both gross and net champions, and the same person cannot win both.

MEMBER-STAFF CLASSIC
SUNDAY, AUGUST 24

Each year, Destination Geneva National hosts the Member-Staff Classic, a high anticipated golf tournament and dinner during which GN Members golf and dine with our associates -- and some Members even take on staff roles like server, golf assistant, and beverage cart attendant.
During dinner, the annual GN Member’s Club Scholarship honorees are announced and every staffer participating in or working during the event receives a raffle prize. Last year, $23,000 in scholarships were awarded to 15 student-staffers and some 160 associates received raffle prizes. We thank you in advance for your continued enthusiasm and generosity in celebrating our dedicated service team.

PACE OF PLAY TIPS
A NOTE FROM THE PROFESSIONAL STAFF
|
- Choose correct set of tees for your playing ability.
- Read your putt while others are putting and finish tap-ins.
- When sharing a cart, drop partner at their ball and go to your ball. After playing your shot, return and pick up your partner on way to the next shot.
- Stay within 1 shot of the group in front of your group.
- Aim to play in 20 seconds, club selection, pre-shot routine, hit it!
- Play ready golf and skip honors, when ready and safe go ahead and play even if not farthest away.
- Watch flight and position of all players and help locate stray shots.

HANDICAP & CAP PATROL
|
Active handicap score posting in Wisconsin continues throughout the year ending October 31, 2025. Please keep in mind it is a GN Local Rule that: ALL MEMBERS MUST POST SCORES HOLE-BY-HOLE each time they play within 24 hours. This is defined by entering the GROSS SCORE for each hole and not the adjusted Equitable Stroke Control (ESC) individual hole score. This will be a requirement for any GN Member to compete in GN Member Golf Events. It will also help us collect more data throughout the year to compute the individual hole handicap rankings as we compare to previous years data to possibly change the hole rankings for 2026. Please also review the additional information regarding GN’s continued partnership with CapPatrol.
