The Ladies Triple Crown was played under perfect summer skies July 13–14 on the Trevino and Palmer Courses. This year’s Las Vegas–themed event, Golf Is a Gamble, brought out the best in creativity as many ladies arrived in coordinating outfits and fun gambling-inspired attire.
Thirty lady members each invited a guest to compete in this two-day event featuring two unique formats. Sunday’s opening round was a spirited Shamble with additional on-course games to keep the fun rolling. On Monday, the competition shifted to a more traditional 1 Best Ball format. Four flights competed for both Gross and Net honors, with the top eight teams earning a coveted spot in the Championship Shootout held on holes 16, 17, and 18.
Taking home the victory (pictured) was the team of Member Erica Gibbs and her guest Sue Daniels, who clinched the title after a thrilling one-hole playoff against runners-up Member Kim Schroeppel and her guest Barb Dowling.
Congratulations to all Gross and Net Flight winners, listed below. A heartfelt thank you to the Triple Crown Committee—Barb Roloff, Deb Olson, Sandy Suh Pomierski, Kim Leech, and Erika Gibbs—for their dedication and support in organizing such a fantastic event.

In preparation for the August 24 Member-Staff Classic, we are starting to collect raffle gifts and continue to accept donations for the GN Member’s Scholarship Fund.
