We’re excited to announce starting Thursday, May 16 – Friday, May 31, with the exception of Monday, May 20 , the Palmer course will open for play with some daily limitations on times and or number of rounds. During this period Palmer will act as the daily member course where members can book tee times up to 30 days in advance with online tee time booking now available. For the reminder of the month of May members can still book tee times on the resort courses if Palmer’s availability does not meet your specific need. Starting Saturday, June 1 we’ll be back to normal operations with all three courses open and rotation of the member course daily. Members can book tee times on the designated member course up to 30-days in advance via online or by calling the Member Concierge Desk at 262.245.7012. Resort course tee times are available 24-hours in advance.
When playing Palmer please be mindful of the renovations that have taken place. In some areas we’ll be operating with larger GPS GEO fencing limiting access to protect some of the recently renovated areas. We greatly appreciate your patience during this process.

DREW RINGELSTETTER
|
A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Drew Ringelstetter who won the WPGA Assistants Stroke Play on Monday, May 6 at Washington County Golf Club in Hartford. Drew fired a two-under-par 70 in breezy conditions and won in a 1-hole playoff over 2023 WPGA Assistant Player of the Year David Bach of Whistling Straits. The round also served as a qualifier for the yearlong WPGA Assistants Match Play as Drew earned the #1 seed for his stroke play victory. He continued his fine play that afternoon and won his first-round match 7 & 6 over Gunnar Stapp of Hidden Glen Golf Club. Great playing Drew; keep it up over the summer tournament season!

All match play participants were emailed the event brackets and email contact information Saturday, May 11 for each separate match play event. The men’s brackets and contact information are also posted in the Men’s Locker Room and the ladies' brackets are posted at the end of the Member Tap Room Hallway. Please remember to contact your opponent(s) and get your matches scheduled early as “No Extensions” will be granted. When calling the Golf Shop for tee times please be sure to let staff know this is a match so we can have scorecards prepared.

Assistant Golf Professional and Junior Golf Leader Sam Klobucar will be in his third season at Destination Geneva National. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Golf Enterprise Management and Hospitality and has gained valuable experience at golf courses across the country and world including Olympia Fields Country Club, McDowell Mtn Golf Club, Kauri Cliffs, and Tara Iti in New Zealand. Sam has passion for the golf industry, growing the game of golf through juniors and families and is he very excited to be leading our junior programming.

Ryan Southworth returns to Destination GN for his second season. Originally from Rhode Island, he discovered at the age 10 the game of golf, which quickly became his life’s passion. He was a two-time first team all state golfer in high school and won the Club Championship at his home course at age 17. From there he launched his professional golfers career.

The second week of Weekend Golf was played on Saturday, May 11 on the Trevino Course. With blustery winds kicking up as the round progressed, both the men and ladies competed separately in a difficult scoring format, 1 Net Best Ball on the Odd Holes and 2 Net Best Balls on the Even Holes with all 4 Net Best Balls counting on #18. The results and credit book winning are listed below. Thank you to all who participated.
