SECOND EVENT | BENEFITTING THE SOWF

The SOWF Team Golf Series continued on Sunday, July 14 with the second of four events held at the Player Course in warm and humid weather. The format of the event was Modified Chapman Alternate Shot, which added extra pressure on partners when one player made a less than perfect shot or putt. In this format, the 2-person team chose a ball to finish with after the regulation shot to the green and continued taking alternate shots until the ball was holed. The Boys of Summer consisting of Jim Passi, Sam Osborne, Tom Baird, & Terry Periman won the second event, extending their lead in the 4-event point system. The next event will take place on Sunday, August 4 on the Palmer Course, and teams will be aiming to close the gap. Gift cards sponsored by Form Wealth were awarded to the top 3 finishing teams (pictured above), and the 5 closest-to-the-pin winners are listed below.
